LAWRENCE — Police say series of drug sweeps in Lawrence and surrounding communities this summer has resulted in about 250 arrests and the seizure of more than $1 million worth of heroin and a dozen illegal firearms."Operation Cold Turkey," which also netted about $1 million in cash, involved Lawrence, Methuen and Andover drug detectives, with help from state and federal authorities.
