PHOENIX (AP) — Gasoline prices around Arizona are at their lowest level heading into the Labor Day holiday weekend in more than a decade. Officials with Triple-A Arizona said Thursday that the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is $2.54 a gallon, down by more than 7 cents from last week. This week's national average is $2.43 per gallon, a decrease of almost a dime from last week. Tucson has Arizona's lowest average gasoline price at $2.29 a gallon and Flagstaff the highest at $2.81 per gallon. South Carolina has the lowest average gas prices among states in the continental U.S.
