Republican candidates: An “Amen Corner” for Kentucky county clerk who turned away same-sex couples

Rowan County, Kentucky, Clerk Kim Davis has been turned away by the U.S. Supreme Court, and taken into custody under a federal judge’s orders, after refusing on religious grounds to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples — or any couples. But Davis has found an “Amen Corner” among Republican presidential candidates.
