LOS ANGELES (AP) — The husband-and-wife owners of a Los Angeles County nutritional supplement company pleaded guilty to federal charges stemming from the illegal importation of so-called royal jelly from China under deceptive labels. The indictment also alleged that the defendants illegally imported seal oil capsules in violation of the Marine Mammal Protection Act.
