Bruno Mars got a nice present on his 30th birthday: NBC inked a deal with the Grammy-winning singer to produce a family comedy pilot. The proposed series, whose pilot is being written by Prentice Penny (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Happy Endings), centers on a boisterous musical family in the Bronx that takes in their wide-eyed 10-year-old relative.
