Rankin Scott Kelly, El Paso County's first sheriff, took on the job even though he believed he was a murderer. Kelly's story will be featured on the third season of "Colorado Experience" in an episode titled "The Sheriff." It will air Thursday on Rocky Mountain PBS and be available to view for free online on Friday. "It's the drama you can't make up," said Julie Speer, senior executive producer at RMPBS.
