Houston developer to build project at 'Hunger Games park'

A Houston shopping center developer has been tapped for a major commercial real estate project tied to a proposed theme park planned outside of Atlanta. An affiliate of Jefco Development will develop a 300,000-square-foot shopping and dining area, two hotels and a 10,000-seat outdoor amphitheater on the perimeter of the Avatron theme park, the company announced in a joint press release with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.
