South Tahoe school superintendent receives buyout package

(AP) — The superintendent in charge of schools on the California side of south Lake Tahoe has received a $125,000 buyout package for resigning after being arrested twice on investigation of drunken driving. The Sacramento Bee reports (http://bit.ly/1Lzo155 ) that former El Dorado County Superintendent Jeremy Meyers received a lump sum payment equal to his salary through June and a lump sum of his medical, dental and life insurance benefits in exchange for stepping down Nov.
