Museum hosts talk on Frederick Douglass 1845 trip to Ireland

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — A western New York college professor is giving a talk at an Albany museum on the trip the black abolitionist Frederick Douglass made to Ireland more than 170 years ago. Douglass, an ex-slave who had moved to Rochester, traveled to Ireland in 1845 to give lectures on the struggle against slavery in the United States.Read more on NewsOK.com
