Super Bowl 50 scores third-largest TV audience in history

The Denver Broncos’ 24-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers in the Super Bowl on Sunday ended up being not much of a contest compared to last year’s squeaker, and the ratings slipped a bit as a result. The big game drew an average 111.9 million viewers, down 2.2 percent from 2015’s record matchup.
