Showtime is covering Rolling Stone. Actually, the premium cabler today confirmed that it has ordered a pilot based on articles from the venerable music and pop culture magazine. Showtime told Deadline’s sister publication WWD that it is moving forward on an untitled “pop culture-focused docuseries in the vein of Rolling Stone,” the Wenner Media title that will mark its 50th anniversary next year.
