If you can believe it, we're already more than four months past the release of STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, and it's a film that still exists heavily in the cultural zeitgeist (as you'd expect any STAR WARS film to be). But not only do we already have the trailer for ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY, but news has also been trickling about about the next episode in the main saga, the currently untitled STAR WARS EPISODE VIII.The film has been in production since last February -- over two months at this point -- and now director Rian Johnson has updated his blog celebrating his team making it halfway through production!Of course, no production update would be an update without photos, and Johnson makes sure to deliver.Check them out below!
