One person was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Route 219 in the Androscoggin County town of Turner. WCSH-TV reported that the person who died was alone in the car when it collided with a pickup truck. The driver of the truck was also the sole occupant and was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with non-life threatening injuries, the Portland television station reported. Both vehicles were destroyed.
