A Painesville man was arrested after he admitted to police that he threw a dog out of a sixth-story window. About 8 a.m. May 3, police were called to Washington Square Apartments at 111 E. Washington St., where building staff found a deceased dog in the trash compactor, according to a news release from Painesville Police.
