Medina sheriff investigating theft of $1,600 worth of apple trees

The Medina County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of $1,600 in apple trees from an orchard near Seville, the Medina Gazette reported.Geig’s Orchard at 8468 Wooster Pike Road said on its Facebook page that 53 trees of a new variety had been removed. The top of the trees were painted white.Nothing else was damaged.The trees were in an area not easily accessible by road, the Facebook post said.Read the full Medina Gazette report here.
