S. companies would no longer be able to bar employees from taking jobs with competitors under a rule approved by a federal agency Tuesday, though the rule is sure to be challenged in court. The Federal Trade Commission voted Tuesday 3-2 to ban measures known as noncompete agreements, which bar workers from jumping to or starting competing companies for a prescribed period of time.

The U. S. government is inching closer and closer to a TikTok ban, a move that would impact more than just TikTok. As Mashable reported over the weekend, the House passed an updated version of the ban with bipartisan support. If or when it makes its way to President Biden's desk, Biden has signaled he will sign it into law, and effectively ban TikTok in the U.

Generative AI capabilities are powered by Adobe's Firefly Image 3 model which was also released today.
