The gap between housing and what people earn, particularly minimum wage workers, is growing around the U.S. and in the Houston region, according to a National Low Income Housing Service report released Wednesday. The report Out of Reach showed that i 2016, a renter working full time must earn $20.30 an hour to afford a decent two-bedroom apartment.
