Moore High students appeal suspension, allowed to graduate

By Tim Willert Staff Writer twillert@oklahoman.comFive Moore High School students suspended for their roles in a senior prank will participate in graduation ceremonies Saturday. Moore Public Schools Superintendent Robert Romines told The Oklahoman on Friday the five male students appealed their suspensions, which were amended to allow them to walk with their classmates. "Mistakes were made, students took ownership and apologized," Romines said. Romines declined to identify the students, who were suspended for several days and prohibited from graduating with their classmates after carrying a sanctioned senior prank too far. Moore High School seniors will graduate Saturday night at Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City. Read more on NewsOK.com
