By Zack Orsborn Daily Journal TUPELO – For the sixth year, United Way of Northeast Mississippi will be handing out 4,000 backpacks across seven Back 2 School Resource Fairs along with partnering sponsors and agencies. Robin Matkin, United Way communications associate, said parents tell United Way every year they don’t know how they would afford school supplies without the resource fair. “It’s hard if you have three kids,” she said.
