Post vacant since 2003, N.J. may get a permanent medical examiner

Gov. Christie has again nominated a former North Jersey medical examiner to head the state Medical Examiner's Office. Andrew L. Falzon has served in the top position in an acting capacity, overseeing the troubled system for the last year. The position has been vacant since 2003.
