A new residential development may be replacing the former Fairway Pines Golf Course in Painesville Township.The Slovenian Home for the Aged Foundation purchased the property from the previous owners with the intent to build a facility for themselves, but could not afford to do so, Painesville Township Administrator Michael Manary said.
