Jacksonville police identified Saturday a 27-year-old man shot to death at the Roosevelt Gardens apartment complex near Eighth Street and Interstate 95 early Friday. Police found Ameen A. Ahmad dead in the parking area of the complex in the 600 block of North Lincoln Court about 2:45 a.m. Friday after someone reported hearing multiple gunshots, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s office. read more
