Lawyer: Condit not a subject or target in Levy murder probe

A lawyer for former Rep. Gary Condit (D-Calif.) says federal prosecutors no longer consider him a suspect in the disappearance and murder of Washington intern Chandra Levy in 2001.A day after the government dropped all charges against an illegal immigrant from El Salvador once convicted of Levy's murder, Ingmar Guandique, an attorney for Condit said the former congressman was informed recently that he is not the focus of investigators."Consistent with my earlier statement that Mr.
