Near East Side silos to get updates, but neighbors would like them gone

Though long-vacant silos on the Near East Side are finally getting new life, neighborhood leaders say they would rather see them demolished than used again. Mount Carmel Stabilization Group of Illinois is leasing the site at 1855 E.
