Amarillo Police Department's Traffic Investigation Unit is working a major crash in the 12000 block of Interstate 40 East this morning. The roadway is closed in both directions at this location. Westbound traffic is being diverted off of the highway at the Avenue J exit. Eastbound traffic is being diverted to U.S.
