McNichols Building plays host to free “Being ñ” documentary

Denise Soler Cox and Henry Ansbacher’s years-in-the-making documentary “Being ñ” looks at the 16 million first-generation American Latinos with at least one parent from a Spanish-speaking country, whose cultural experience of living in two worlds simultaneously comes to life in a variety of ways. The Colorado-produced film, which is a product of the larger, ongoing Project ñ nonprofit, is screening nationally as part of Hispanic Heritage Month — with a Denver showing at the newly reopened McNichols Building at Civic Center, 144 W.
