STEWART By William Moore Daily Journal TUPELO – After allegedly shooting a Cooper Tire coworker Wednesday night, a Monroe County man walked outside and waited for police to arrest him. “After the incident, the suspect left the building, disposed of the gun,” said Tupelo detective Steven Wade. “He waited for law enforcement to arrive and then turned himself in.” Police received the 911 call of shots fired at the tire manufacturing plant of South Green Street around 8:15 p.m.
