MESHOPPEN — Lindsey Williams remained unbeaten as Holy Redeemer moved from one set of opponents to another through the Wyoming Valley Conference cluster meet schedule. When the entire conference gathered Wednesday at the Wyoming County Fairgrounds for the Ed Narkiewicz WVC Championship Meet, Williams again stood above the pack. The Holy Redeemer junior covered the 3.1-mile course in 20:08 to win the varsity girls individual title. Williams came away from the meet happy with the competition and what it means as she prepares for next week’s District 2 Championships at Lakeland High School. On a day otherwise dominated by the Dallas boys and girls regular-season champions, Williams and Hazleton Area senior Mary Everdale finished 1-2 in the girls race. “She really kept on me the whole race,” Williams said.
