A 14-year-old allegedly ran from the scene after fatally hitting a man with a vehicle in north Houston. A man was crossing Aldine Mail Route near MacNaughton about 8:30 p.m. when police say the teen, driving west in a red Jeep, struck him. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
