Red Reddington (James Spader) is back at the post office, executing an elaborate plan because it's come to his attention that Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen) has somehow tapped the FBI and gained access to their digital and verbal communication. To test his theory, Red uses a corrupt cohort of Kirk's as bait, and Kirk proves Red right by sending an assassin to kill the guy. During the most uncomfortable dinner date ever, Elise discovers that Aram's trying to plant software on her laptop, and after a violent struggle, she's arrested. [...] Liz has to choose between keeping Kirk out of jail so that she can get some answers from him about her background, or sending him into a trap in order to rescue Agnes. With just one episode to go before the show's fall finale, it appears that Kirk's illness gets the better of him in next week's episode, and even with him ill and in custody, Liz is still in great danger. [...] she's in a real pickle.
