The Ohio State Highway Patrol will conduct two OVI checkpoints Friday night in Summit County.“Based on provisional data, there were 297 OVI-related fatal crashes in which 297 people were killed last year in Ohio,” the patrol said in a news release. “State troopers make on average 25,000 OVI arrests each year in an attempt to combat these dangerous drivers.
