Are we getting close to Tony Romo time for the Cowboys?

The Dallas Cowboys are now 11-1, have (at worst) a two-game division lead over the Giants and are closing in on home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. Is it time for Tony Romo to start seeing some game action? As Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk argues, it's something the Cowboys should consider: "Giving Romo some playing time would offer the Cowboys the opportunity to showcase him for a trade: If he plays well and stays healthy for the last few games of the season, he'd be attractive to teams looking for a veteran quarterback in the offseason." Romo's trade prospects would be a "secondary concern," though for the Cowboys.
