The banquet hall inside Hellriegel's Inn was packed again Dec. 7 in honor of Pearl Harbor Day - a tradition that has drawn crowds from near and far to the Painesville Township venue since 1965.Despite a four-year pause after original owner Bill Kochever, who along with fellow World War II veterans established the tradition, died in 1995, the remembrance dinner continues today.
