A year after local leaders asked for a property tax exemption for Nationwide Arena, the Ohio legislature agreed to it Thursday, the last day of its lame-duck session. The arena, owned since 2011 by the Franklin County Convention Facilities Authority, had pushed hard for the exemption. It became clear after the public authority purchased the arena that it would be liable starting Jan.
