Conner had been working for her dad, who operates the North Pole Adventure, a sprawling Christmas experience at the southwest corner of Plaza Mayor at the Crossroads on Oklahoma City's southside. The North Pole opened early that mid-December day in 2015 so workers with the Emergency Medical Services Authority could take a child on a special outing to see Santa. Conner thought she'd help show the little boy around. As she helped open up shop, the child boarded an ambulance at Special Care, a school that caters to children with medical or developmental needs. The staff at Special Care had nominated the 3-year-old boy for the one-on-one experience with Santa. Peter Murry boarded the ambulance at school to see Santa.Read more on NewsOK.com
