Sustainability gets a bad rap in the fashion world according to Giusy Bettoni, CEO of the eco-textile consultancy C.L.A.S.S. She attributes this to the association the term has with “smelling like patchouli” and other less stylish treehugger-like activities. Fortunately, however, advancements in technology have brought big improvements to eco-friendly fabrics that could change the way designers approach sustainable fashion.
