While Power Rangers had solid debut this weekend, it wasn't enough to dethrone Beauty and the Beast, as Disney's live-action film held strong in first place at the domestic box office for its second consecutive week. As noted by Variety, Lionsgate's Mighty Morphin movie performed above its $30 million expectations, placing second with an estimated $40.5 million.
