So leave it to the kids — and this year, they get to try out a cool new ride at Elitch Gardens in Denver: the 17-story—Star Flyer, a giant, gravity-defying swing that looks so awesome, it may even tempt queasy adults to give it a try. Forty-eight people ride in pairs across open-air seats that climb high above the ground while speeding in circles up to 50 miles per hour. Whoa.
