MARCUS HOOK >> Whether it was to watch the marching bands or the fire trucks or friends and family members strutting in the parade, hundreds lined Market Street Saturday afternoon for Delaware County's oldest Memorial Day parade.Taking off shortly after noon with the sound of the fire alarm, veterans groups like the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 67 to the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania to the Claymont Falcons Cheerleaders and the West Powelton Drum Corps to the many fire companies and string bands, this year's parade brought smiles once again to the community members who love it so much.
