Beacon Journal staff reportThe University of Akron will no longer lease parking spaces in three parking lots and a parking deck near the campus, saving $55,000 a year.There is alternative parking near the leased spaces, some of which were regularly used, UA said.UA was leasing a total of 414 spaces.
