Sprouts Farmers Market to anchor Stapleton’s Central Park Station development

Sprouts Farmers Market is coming to Stapleton. The rapidly growing specialty grocery chain will open a 30,000-square-foot store in the 3500 block of Central Park Boulevard, anchoring the new transit-oriented development south of RTD’s Central Park Station, developers announced Wednesday. The store is expected to open in fall 2018. The grocery store will be part of the first phase of what will eventually be a 4 million-square-foot development around Stapleton’s commuter rail station. A 190,000-square-foot Class A office building, a 300-unit apartment building, a 110-unit condominium project and another 12,000 square feet of retail space also are expected to start coming out of the ground next spring.
