A mix of reality TV, ex-sitcom and talk-show personalities will host the nationally syndicated “Daily Blast Live” show from Denver when it debuts on Sept. 11. The live show, which will be filmed at KUSA-Channel 9’s studios in Denver, is a 30-minute daytime news and entertainment program and “multi-platform brand,” according to KUSA owner TEGNA, which will syndicate the show in 36 of the 38 markets in which it owns TV stations. “We purposely tapped personalities from a cross-section of backgrounds and disciplines to bring their distinctive voices, personalities and points of view to ‘DBL,’ ” said Bob Sullivan, senior vice president of programming at TEGNA, in a news statement.
