A recent study conducted by America's SBDC and The Center for Generational Kinetics revealed insights into the entrepreneurial mindset of different generations of Americans, including the millennials, defined as those born between 1977 and 1995. The study showed that most respondents of all generations rated money high on the list of things holding them back from starting a business. America's SBDC advisers provide free one-on-one help with market and industry research, writing a business or marketing plan, putting together a loan application package and more. Entrepreneurs can also attend a wide variety of affordable business workshops and seminars on topics ranging from basic business startup to attracting more customers through social media.
