Batman is a lot more traditional in Justice League than we was in Batman vs. Superman, according to Ben Affleck. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Affleck revealed that the reason why BvS slightly departed from the Batman people have known and loved is because he was filled with rage. The superhero was angry at Superman and all of his co-workers dying in the beginning of the film, so viewers never got the chance to witness a more heroic Dark Knight. “He was holding on to a lot of anger, in a little bit of an irrational way,” said Affleck.
