MOOSIC — If ominous winds were not so symbolic of the eighth inning to come, then bullpen and fielding struggles on this homestand might have been a better omen. Just as a thunderstorm encroached upon PNC Field, the wheels quickly came off for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. The RailRiders suffered an 8-4 loss to the Durham Bulls Saturday in a battle of the International League’s two best records. The strong winds and heavy rain forced umpires to cancel the game with two outs in the top of the ninth.
