Study: Life sciences pump in $88.5B annually to state's economy

Pennsylvania's life sciences industry was worth $88.5 billion to the state during 2016, according to a new report by the accounting and consulting firm KPMG. The report said that Pennsylvania had a leading role in the life sciences industry across the U.S. and especially in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
