Stanley Shimko Jr., son of Stanley and Donna Shimko, of Bear Creek Township, is celebrating his 13th birthday today, Sept. 20, 2017. Stanley is the grandson of the late Frank and Evelyn Kornova, of Wilkes-Barre; Eleanore Shimko, of Glen Lyon; and the late John Shimko.
