When I first saw Gaspar Noé’s 2009 mind trip “Enter the Void,” I walked out after about 45 minutes, when there were still two hours to go. Now I count it as one of my top 10 films of the 2000s. I thought it was gimmicky and incoherent, but Noé’s powerful images stuck with me.
