Even with significant projects taking place throughout Lake Metroparks this year, the park system has seen an overall budget decrease in 2017.Expenditures are down about $500,000 from last year, according to a Lake Metroparks' budget request summary, even with larger projects like Painesville Township Pier, Nature Play at Penitentiary Glen in Kirtland and the construction of stairs at Lake Erie Bluffs in Perry completed.
