Grammy TV special highlights key role played by its producer

NEW YORK (AP) — Some great Grammy Award moments — like Pink's stunning, acrobatic performance in 2010 or the high-energy pairing of Imagine Dragons and Kendrick Lamar in 2014 — were dreamed up by its longtime producer, Ken Ehrlich. He's looking back at 60 years of Grammy magic in a new special airing on CBS Friday. Most of the coolest water cooler Grammy moments are dreamed up by Ehrlich, who has been the brains — and diplomatic negotiator — behind the show since 1980 and has built a reputation for combining unlikely artists in special ways.
